Sarah has a background in geospatial analysis and information visualisation. She specialises in user-centred visualisation design and is particularly focused on energy visualisation opportunities with MEMSI.
Sarah received her PhD from the giCentre, City University London in 2015, where her research focused on visualisation for energy analysts and smart home analysis. Sarah has since worked closely with epidemiologists to represent disease models and constraint programmers to enable visual profiling for combinatorial optimisation problems.
Her research also includes a framework for visualising scale and geographical variation in multivariate analysis and guidelines for utilising creativity workshops in visualisation design studies.
