Who are we
The Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) has a bold ambition to disrupt
disadvantage in Australia through pioneering innovations. This project
seeks to understand public discourse around cycles of disadvantage in
Australia by analysing public texts across media and parliamentary
speeches, as the way society thinks about an issue determines how it
responds. To do so, a multidisciplinary team was needed. The research
effort involved several collaborators;
DVIALab
(Data Visualisation and Immersive Analytics Lab, Monash Faculty of
Information Technology),
SoDa Laboratories
(Social [science] insights from alternative data, Monash Business
School),
BehaviourWorks Australia, and the
Monash Data Futures Institute.
